The Center for Cinematic and Experimental Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that advances public understanding, appreciation, and access to the arts by supporting filmmakers, artists, and cultural producers pursuing thoughtful, independent work. We welcome projects across disciplines, including film, media, visual art, performance, research, music, education, preservation, and other forms of artistic and educational endeavor. We host workshops and public screenings, creating opportunities for artists to share their work, exchange ideas, and make meaningful connections. Through our fiscal sponsorship program, CCEA receives charitable contributions and makes grants to support the approved charitable and educational activities of sponsored projects. We have a particular affection for underdogs, unconventional ideas, and ambitious work made without corporate backing. Art-making should belong to the people.
