CCEA's fiscal sponsorship program allows productions to receive tax-deductible grants and donations from foundations, government agencies, and individual donors. CCEA welcomes film projects of all durations and genres, as well as a diverse range of creative endeavors aligned with our mission, like film festivals interactive media, exhibitions, and more.Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and at any stage of your project's development. Yes, Projects can still receive funding from investors, but only donor funds are eligible for tax deductions. Donors are not entitled to any project profits, whereas investors expect a financial return on their investment but cannot receive tax benefits.
No. Finding donors, and/or applying for grants, is the responsibility of the production.
CCEA charges a 5% administrative fee on contributions made through our fiscal sponsorship program.
No. Your project remains an independent legal entity, with full creative control and ownership, and you are responsible for your own tax reporting and liabilities. CCEA does not claim any rights over the project.
Yes. Non-U.S. citizens are welcome, though certain tax limitations may apply depending on location.
